Social Media

With the goal of building interest about what a DotDotSmile Merchandiser was (and why the viewer should become one!), the marketing team and I produced 'Meet Our Merchandisers'. It was an IGTV segment where we interviewed active Merchandisers. I wrote the script for Nicole's intro, and drafted the questions presented to the Merchandisers. To view, use your phone and click here. --And be sure to click on each Merchandiser's name to watch their full interview.

To promote even more awareness about DDS Merchandisers, I started 'Merchandiser Mondays.' Every Monday, one of our current Merchandisers would take over our Instagram story. (The week before, they sent in their content for me to review, and I would be the one to post it.) They sent pictures/video/content introducing themselves/their families, stories about their experiences as a Merchandiser, and explained why they chose to join DotDotSmile. Along with helping to promote the company, another benefit was boosting moral with our Merchandisers! They really enjoyed being selected, and went above and beyond creating fun and informative content.

All over Instagram, you see companies using influencers to promote their brand. To stay relevent, I began the DotDotSmile Influencer Program. I would seek out and contact major influencer moms, send them new clothing, and in exchange they'd promote our brand via posts and Instagram stories.

Along with starting the DotDotSmile Influencer Program, I thought cross-promoting with other brands would be another fun way to get the DotDotSmile name out there. I searched Instagram for small, kid-centric business -- like girls' hair bows! They'd send us some product that our models would wear in a photoshoot. Then, we would tag them in our posts/stories, and I'd send them pictures from the shoot so they could do the same.

These are some of my Instagram posts.
